Day 1: Marrakech – Ouzoud Waterfalls

Leave Marrakech behind and head into the Middle Atlas foothills toward the spectacular Ouzoud waterfalls, among the highest in North Africa. A scenic drive through olive groves and rural villages leads you to this lush natural site. Walk down to the base of the falls, take a small boat close to the cascades, and spot Barbary macaques in their natural habitat.

Day 2: Ouzoud – High Atlas – Telouet

Journey into the High Atlas along lesser-traveled routes, crossing rugged landscapes and remote Berber villages. Reach Telouet, once the stronghold of the powerful Glaoui family. Visit its kasbah, a fading yet fascinating reminder of its former grandeur.

Day 3: Telouet – Aït Benhaddou – Ouarzazate

Travel along the scenic Ounila Valley, dotted with earthen villages and terraced fields. Stop at Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO-listed ksar and one of Morocco’s most iconic sites. Continue to Ouarzazate, often referred to as the gateway to the desert.

Day 4: Ouarzazate – Valley of Roses – Dades Gorge

Drive through the fragrant Valley of Roses, known for its damask rose cultivation and artisanal products. The route winds through palm groves and fortified villages. Continue to the Dades Gorge, where dramatic rock formations and winding roads create a striking landscape.

Day 5: Dades – Todra Gorge – Merzouga

Head toward the spectacular Todra Gorge, with its sheer canyon walls rising high above the valley floor. Take time to walk through the oasis and rocky corridors. Continue to Merzouga at the edge of the Sahara.
In the late afternoon, ride camels into the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Watch the sunset over the sands before settling into your luxury desert camp for dinner and an evening around the fire.

Begin the return journey to Marrakech via Ouarzazate and the High Atlas Mountains. Cross the Tizi n’Tichka pass, where sweeping views reveal Berber villages clinging to the mountainsides.
