This 12-day journey invites you to experience Morocco through its most iconic crafts: pottery and zellige tilework. From imperial cities to desert gateways, this itinerary blends cultural immersion, hands-on workshops, and carefully curated encounters with master artisans.

DAY 1: CASABLANCA
Upon arrival in Casablanca, you will be welcomed at the airport and transferred to your hotel. After a short time to refresh, your introduction to the city begins.
The visit opens with the impressive Hassan II Mosque, dramatically set along the Atlantic coast and celebrated for its intricate zellige details and grand architecture.
Lunch is served along the Corniche, overlooking the ocean. The afternoon continues with a tour of Casablanca’s architectural highlights and central market area.
You will also explore the historic Sqala fortress and visit the shrine of Sidi Allal El Kairouani.
The day concludes with a stroll through the Arab League Park and a stop at the former Sacred Heart Cathedral.

DAY 2: CASABLANCA – FEZ
Early departure toward Fez, with a scenic stop for traditional Moroccan pancakes and coffee.
En route, explore the Roman ruins of Volubilis before continuing to Fez.
Arrival in the afternoon and check-in at a traditional riad adorned with authentic zellige. After a short rest, enjoy a guided introduction to the medina:
visit a weaving cooperative
observe a Berber carpet-making demonstration
explore the souks, with optional access to a traditional hammam
Dinner is served in a restored palace offering refined Fassi cuisine. Overnight in Fez.
DAY 3: FEZ – ZELLIGE WORKSHOP
A full day dedicated to the art of zellige.
Under the guidance of skilled artisans, you will learn the techniques of shaping, cutting, and decorating traditional tiles. Each participant creates their own pieces to take home.
Evening at leisure and overnight in Fez.
DAY 4: FEZ – POTTERY WORKSHOP
Today focuses on traditional pottery-making.
Spend the day in a local workshop discovering ancestral techniques and crafting your own ceramic pieces.
Return to your riad for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 5: FEZ – HISTORICAL DISCOVERY
A deeper exploration of Fez reveals its rich heritage:
Royal Palace gates
The historic Jewish quarter (Mellah) and Ibn Danan Synagogue
Jewish cemetery and the tomb of Lalla Solica
Bou Inania Madrasa
Continue through artisan districts:
dyeing workshops
tanneries
wood, metal, and leather crafts
Visit the University of Al Quaraouiyine and key mausoleums.
After a traditional lunch, stroll through Nejjarine Square and its surrounding souks.
Overnight in Fez.
DAY 6: FEZ – MARRAKECH
Journey south through the Middle Atlas, passing Ifrane, Azrou, and Beni Mellal.
Arrival in Marrakech and first discovery of Jemaa el-Fna square, alive with performers, storytellers, and musicians.
Dinner on the square. Overnight in Marrakech.

DAY 7: MARRAKECH – GUIDED TOUR
Explore Marrakech’s cultural landmarks:
Majorelle Garden and museum
Bahia Palace
Koutoubia Mosque
Saadian Tombs
El Badi Palace
Wander through the medina and souks, discovering carpets, jewelry, leather goods, and artisan workshops.
Enjoy a refined lunch, followed by visits to the Mellah and the spice market.
Overnight in Marrakech.
DAY 8: MARRAKECH – ZAGORA
Travel south عبر the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass.
Stop at an argan oil cooperative for a guided tasting experience.
Lunch in a mountain village before continuing to Zagora.
Overnight stay in a charming riad or hotel.
DAY 9: ZAGORA – N’KOB
Camel excursion across the dunes of Tinfou.
Visit Tamegroute:

Participate in a hands-on pottery session guided by local masters, creating your own pieces.
Continue to N’Kob for dinner with a Berber family. Overnight stay.
DAY 10: N’KOB – OUARZAZATE
Discover the Berber village of Aït Ouzzine:
meet a local family
take part in a traditional cooking class
explore gardens and village life
Enjoy a homemade lunch, followed by relaxation with henna application and mint tea.
Continue to Ouarzazate with a wellness break (massage using local oils).
Overnight in Ouarzazate.
DAY 11: OUARZAZATE – MARRAKECH
Visit the UNESCO-listed ksar of Aït Ben Haddou, a legendary film location and historic caravan stop.
Explore its fortified architecture and learn about its role along ancient trade routes.
Lunch on site before returning to Marrakech. Overnight stay.
DAY 12: MARRAKECH – DEPARTURE
Early morning transfer to Marrakech Menara Airport for departure.
